LACQUER
BRAND MANAGEMENT & LOGO DESIGN
I was hired as the brand manager to help my client gain investors and imagine the potential for a new business venture, a nail salon with the name Lacquer. By analyzing the mission of the organization and the target audience, I developed the concept and mood alignment of the business. From there, I created collateral and marketing materials the owners could use to pitch their business to potential partners.
Knowing that each brand is part of its owner's identity, I strive to add humanistic value to each project. The client’s husband owned a company that makes ink designed to be drippy. We gave a nod to him by incorporating a drip element into the branding.
RESULTS
Though the branding and collateral of Lacquer received positive feedback, the client ultimately decided not to open the business.
