THEREABOUTS BRAND LAUNCH
As the design group’s leader, I worked alongside the JCPenney executive team to create the department store’s first line of children’s clothing with inclusivity and sustainability in mind. Utilizing my expertise in innovation, I seamlessly guided the design teams on all aspects of the project, including vision, strategy, and concept, to successfully develop apparel for children with all abilities.
My key responsibilities included establishing brand guidelines to be adopted by the design and marketing departments for current and future brand usage, working cross-functionally with product design, marketing, and development teams, and collaborating with the creative packaging team on logo production and packing development.
RESULTS
The Thereabouts Brand Launch was one of JCPenneys’ biggest launches in 2021 and resulted in the brand’s ability to attract a new customer base and showcase its commitment toward diversity and equity.
